VOS instruments was founded in 1983 by Rob Vos as a wholesaler of laboratory products.\u00a0Devices and consumables were soon supplied to breweries and the petrochemical industry.\u00a0But exports also took off.\u00a0For example, VOS supplies instruments to Heineken laboratories all over the world.\u00a0In the following years, the company grew rapidly, mainly due to a high level of service and reliability.<\/p>\n
A second activity was started in 1991.\u00a0In that year, VOS instruments took over the school activities of Griffin in England.\u00a0In one fell swoop, VOS placed instruments on the map of leading suppliers of lab supplies for Biology, Physics and Chemistry.<\/p>\n
In 2003 a new activity was started in the field of laboratory furniture for schools and laboratory furniture for industry.\u00a0Together with the Dutch producer Vinitex, a reputation of a reliable supplier of high-quality laboratory furniture was built up under the name \u201cVOS furniture\u201d in a very short time.<\/p>\n
VOS instruments develops, produces and supplies various own products under the VOS label.\u00a0Various products are being developed especially for the beer industry, such as the “Hazemeter” for measuring brightness and the “Flask shaker” for the bitterness test.<\/p>\n
In 2014, collaborations were started with manufacturers in the fields of electronics, laboratory equipment and educational materials.\u00a0This enables VOS instruments to supply equipment and laboratory supplies under its own name, with its own specifications and at a high quality level.\u00a0More than 400 VOC products were thus launched in 2015.
